    Hi I've been eating at Pochana since 2015, I love this place, the staff is friendly, the food is CONSISTENTLY good, delicious, excellent and the service is great. Great lunch menu & special. I decided to leave this review after witnessing some distasteful behavior coming from a customer, 3 people across from me were finishing up there meals & tipped $3 yes $3 the minimum tip based on %15 would've been closer to $8. The staff was concerned & asked if the food & service was ok & one of the customers got offended. DISCLAIMER - if you aren't going to leave a decent tip-ORDER YOUR FOOD TO GO! Stop being a cheapskate/broke ass and projecting that onto restaurant workers- who by the way don't get paid a lot & work hard! We're in America where its a custom to tip! Don't want to tip? Move to these countries where tipping isn't allowed- China, Fiji, French Polynesia, Japan, and South Kore

    This felt somewhat like a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but that was what made the experience so unique. While waiting for a flight from LGA, we stopped by in Astoria and found this nice spot serving some great Thai food. I got the red curry and soup, which was $12 if purchased as a lunch combo. The curry was great and it felt like a brief respite from more expensive Chicago and NY foods. Would highly recommend!

    These days it's hard to find a place where you get your moneys worth. The food was delicious. We got the fried squid legs, pho, and Tom yum soup. They were all delicious. I'd say the service was average. Not great but not bad. The price though is fair for the taste, quality, and amount we got. I'd definitely go back and try their other dishes.

    Located on 30th Avenue in Astoria, my cousin and I found this cozy gem for a quick meal. Pochana is a trendy family-owned Thai establishment with an interesting lunch menu that includes an app and entree starting at $12. Upon arrival, the decor was simple. Their menu, although limited, was manageable and clear, making it easy to decide. For starters, we decided on the spring rolls (vegetarian fried rolls with plum dipping sauce) and garden salad (mixed green salad with peanut sauce). For our main meal, we opted for the pad see ew (fresh noodles, eggs, and Chinese broccoli) and mixed vegetables Thai wok fried rice. The food was very authentically flavorful, tasty, and all ingredients were fresh. The service was good, as the staff came over to refill our glass. The price is very good and is not overrated. We can recommend this place.
